I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Williams-Sonoma, Inc.
Interview
I went in for a first interview and store tour. I was expecting it to take maybe an hour. The interview lasted over two hours! The first hour and a half went great. Then it seemed as though it should have come to a close, but the interviewer kept going despite obviously losing focus and getting tired. No interview should ever last that long!
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Williams-Sonoma, Inc. (University Place, WA) in Jul 2018
Interview
First a interview with a in store manager, then a phone interview with the district manager, I was told by the in store manager that the district manager would be in town and wanted to personally interview me. I was given a time, which I couldn’t make because I was currently employed and there was a conflict with time. I was told by the manager she you reach out to the district manager for different options for time. For me not to call back, when they had a time they would reach out to me. I’m still waiting, It’s been over 2 weeks. The courtesy of follow up, even if they had changed their minds on moving forward with me would of been appreciated. I picked this company because of all the amazing things they do for charities I’m very disappointed with management and they have me now look at this company in different way.......
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Williams-Sonoma, Inc. in Aug 2013
Interview
First contact was by email, then by phone. After that, I waited about two weeks so I followed up. I then had three interviews within a week (DM and DMs from sister brands). Two weeks later, I haven't heard anything.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Interviews were really more like store tours. I asked a lot of questions, but really wasn't asked much. Pretty standard stuff.
