      Merchandising Analyst Interview

      Aug 1, 2022
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

      I interviewed at Williams-Sonoma, Inc.

      Interview

The interviewing process was rather short overall. Typical recruiter screening, hiring manager call, short Excel assessment, and another follow-up call with either the hiring manager or recruiter. I rated it as a negative experience since they had told me more than 2 months ago that I got the offer but never had any follow-up afterwards. I contacted HR every week for the next month and still got nothing. Luckily I was able to find a job elsewhere. WSI really needs to be more efficient with getting back to candidates– super unprofessional and disrespectful when they're not even able to provide any updates regarding the offer/position.

      Easy interview

      Application

      I interviewed at Williams-Sonoma, Inc.

      Interview

I had an initial screening with the recruiter, who just wanted to hear more about my interest in the job my background. After that, I moved onto an interview day with 4 back-to-back 30-minute interviews with each member of the team. These interviews were pretty conversational; mostly outline what the job was and any questions I had for them. It seems like they just wanted to get a sense of your fit for the team.
