Question 1
What did I do in my current role? Why am I exploring other opportunities?
I applied online. I interviewed at Williams-Sonoma, Inc.
Interview
First interview was alright; the interviewer was amicable and forthcoming with the unambiguous requirements and expectations of the role. Challenging situational questions were posed which hinted at some underlying management issues and the whole process came up to a lengthy hour. However, the upsetting part was the interviewer was late for at least 15 minutes which leads me to the second part.
Managed to score a second interview and the lady interviewer was late for close to an hour. No apologies at all and HR was not proactive in updating on the situation of whether the interview will be conducted. Worse off, the lady was disinterested and disorganised throughout the interview which were explicitly shown in her verbal and action cues. Makes me ponder if the lateness attribute or unpunctuality is a norm in this company.
