I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Wilmerhale (Washington, DC) in Nov 2022
Interview
There was an initial phone screening interview with HR. The questions were straight to the point. The HR lady sounded more like a cop interrogating me than an HR person trying to see if I was a good fit for the position. The Zoom interview with the partners was average, but they were certainly very arrogant. I left the interview with no desire of working for them.
I interviewed with WilmerHale through my school's virtual OCI process. My screening interview was done remotely and I had the option to do my call back in person at the office I was interviewing for.
I completed two rounds of remote interviews for this position. The first was a one on one interviewer with a single attorney. The second round was three consecutive interviews with attorneys.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Varies on interviewer. Mix of behavioral and substantive questions.
Process was straightforward. I applied on their portal and received an email from recruiting about a week or two after submitting my application. First round was scheduled quickly and the interview was fairly standard. They had a very specific need in one of their groups, so the questions were mostly about my experience in that specific practice area.
