I applied online. I interviewed at Wilson Sporting Goods (Chicago, IL) in Oct 2020
Interview
So, when I received the email saying that I was selected to interview I was thrilled! Upon looking at the email closer and the process it said that it was a taped video interview through HireVue, which was new to me. This was the worst! experience I've ever had interviewing. You basically tape your answer to a number of questions that appear on the screen and never interact with any one at the brand. It left a terrible taste in my mouth about the brand when I finished. If you aren't going to talk to someone, it doesn't say great things about what you stand for as a company.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked a lot of in-depth questions and it wasn't just the "tell us about yourself" type. *If you're going to ask in-depth questions perhaps talk to the person live? Just a recommendation especially for a senior level role.
