Interview
Applied through college for a pool drive in Serampore, Kolkata.
2 day hiring event, 1st day consists of Pre Placement Talk and a 4 stage online test conducted by Aspiring Minds(AMCAT).
The test consisted of:
1. English Proficiency
2. Quants
3. Logical Reasoning
4. Coding
The first 3 rounds were very easy. The coding round had 2 problems.
One was a simple one, mainly asking to find out Factorial or GCD of 2 or more numbers. There was a problem with the compiler due to which many people got runtime error(including me) for the 1st problem despite correct logic. The 2nd one was a bit complex consisting of pattern related problems mostly.
The next day, we were called for interview. Interview happened in mainly 2 rounds.
Face to Face Technical Round: Some people were also called for a remote Skype interview instead of the conventional F2F technical round.
Simple questions were asked to me by the panel I was assigned. Was asked my preference of progrmming language, to which I replied C++. Asked for my CV. Asked some questions from there. Asked to write any random C++ Program. Wrote a String concatenation code in C++. Also was asked to write a C++ program on any of the concepts based on Queue. Wrote an insertion of element in Queue. And was asked to choose between OS and DBMS. Chose DBMS. Was asked to write a very simple query.
After this was the HR Round.
2. HR Round: This was a very brief round, lasting hardly 5 minutes. The HR Personnel asked me about how my day was so far. And then she also asked me to show the resume, to which she questioned me about the cause of my decreasing marks throughout my career, especialy from 10th and 12th to a drop in Graduation. Also asked about hobbies and extra-curriculars. Verified details and asked about consent to Service Agreement and relocation.
Interview went smooth and asked some question and asked to write any program, further asked to explain what I wrote. They ready my resume and asked questions out of it. Asked some personal questions about my father job etc. On-Campus Interview.
the interview had 3 rounds
1st round had 2 coding problems and second had a complex coding problem and the technical discussion had lots of question with java . the final round was hr round
This is the best experience I have ever had.
All the process is new way for me,such like interview on line ,get badge directly while onboard.
