Interview
Initially I was contacted and invited to interview in person; however, the invitation was sent 2 business days ahead of the interview date and I was located in a different state altogether. When requested, they were able to accommodate a Zoom interview. I was interviewed by 3 current supervisors - one of whom was from a different department and looking to fill a position on her team as well. There were a total of 6 questions asked, which the interview committee shared on the screen and took turns reading aloud to me one by one. The questions were not the typical behavioral based but rather asked me to describe my familiarity/experience with different applicable aspects of the role - asked to provide specific examples of my knowledge.

Please provide specific examples and describe your experience with: 1) Journal Entries - be very specific and ready to provide a sample journal entry 2) Financial reports, creating reports, etc. 3) Financial systems 4) Automated Accounting systems 5) System testing and associated technology 6)Did I have any questions for them - they also gave me a chance to share any additional skills that might make me a good fit for the role.
