Technical round is mainly focused on based on role applied. Then followed up with your experience in the field. Since it time demanding job you got to be headstrong and once selected for HR round its a good sign you are 80% through interview

I interviewed with couple of managers in the SF Office. It seems like the group is very sharp and does nice work. They asked some new tax laws questions. One of the managers kinda talks down to me while doing the interview, and they told me their staff role might be a better fit rather than a senior. They said they would be in touch with me, and after the interview, I never heard anything. No update at all.

I had previously worked with the manager so my interview was very casual. I met the manager and the partner for a quick meeting at Starbucks. Questions were very basic and informational about the firm. At a later date, I went to the office on an office visit to meet other employees and to get a vibe of the work culture.
