Wasn't even an interview, the campus recruiter really only talked about what the job entailed and in my opinion was trying really hard to steer me away from the job. I think that she was probably already has someone in mind for the job and only did the interview because she had to look like she was at least interviewing other people. She asked if I was going to pursue a CPA and I told her if I was going to go into accounting then yes, and then she told me for the role they do not want people who are going to leave to get their CPA (which doesn't even make sense since plenty of people study for their CPA while also working full time). After telling me about the role she told me to take some time to speak with advisors etc. and to come back and tell her if I was still interested. When I emailed her to express my interest she completely ignored my first email, and only when I followed up did she write back. All she said was "It was like I said the Payroll Dept does not want someone who would think of getting their CPA." Ok... then why ask me to get back to you if I am still interested?? Honestly a waste of time and super unprofessional, and I should've seen the red flags in during the "interview."
