I had a positive initial interview experience with the company, during which we had a great conversation. The interviewer mentioned that I would be moving on to the next steps and assured me of a follow-up call within a week. Unfortunately, despite my follow-up inquiries about the status, I did not receive any response. While I recognize that internal hiring decisions or the discovery of a more suitable candidate can occur, it is basic professional courtesy to inform candidates of such outcomes. Even a brief acknowledgment would have been appreciated. The lack of communication reflects poorly on the company's professionalism in handling the interview process.
