Interview
The interview process started with a preliminary screening via telephone. The hiring manager went through the standard interview questions (Tell me about your self, strengths & weaknesses, why I was leaving, etc..). Next was a face-to-face interview that focused on a more in depth conversation as to why I thought I was the right fit for the position, going past the job description. Next, I took an assessment test to see how closely I aligned with the job. Finally, there was an interview with the VP of Sales/Marketing, a Senior Director of Category Management and the hiring manager. I was instructed to prepare a presentation as to why I was the best candidate for the job.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Woodstream (Lititz, PA) in Apr 2016
Interview
Phone screening with HR and hiring manager, followed by an in-person. The entirety was quite dated- arrived to a worn office facility and a paper resume application... Post interview was sent an assessment that was lengthy and resembled an SAT test, with questions that had no pertinence to the position being applied for. I wouldn't have accepted an offer even if it had been extended.
