Work & Co Technology interview questions

Received a coding assignment, poured in a lot of effort and energy given there was a lot of program requirements, then turned in it. They acknowledged the receipt of my submission and request for a follow up. Many times I saw from the Traffic/Cloning report on Github that people have been looking at it (whether it's the employees or fellow candidates). However, there was 0 feedback and just radio silence despite promising they would review the assignment although they were simultaneously making updates to their repo. It is disrespectful of anyone's time. It's not ok for companies to hand out time-consuming coding assignments to many candidates (without even a phone screen to establish a form of relationship first), expecting dedicated and quality work but can't even reciprocate with less than 5 minutes for an update (even if it was a rejection) in exchange. Especially considering interns are usually students balancing out their own assignments and exams in the meantime.
