      Account Executive Interview

      May 6, 2026
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Washington, DC
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at WorkWave (Washington, DC) in Feb 2026

      Interview

This was genuinely the most unprofessional interview process I have ever experienced. The recruiter never responds to emails. I went through 4 different interviews, just to be ghosted by everyone at the company. I followed up to multiple people via email and even LinkedIn and received no response even though I was told I’d hear back by a certain date. I did a mock sale, met with VP of Sales, everything… no response. Extremely unprofessional in my opinion to interview someone through 4 rounds, see they are trying actively to get some answer on the status of the role, and just ignore them.

      Question 1

Mock sale, role playing AE and the interviewer was the client.

      Interview

Set up a phone screen with a Talent Acquisition specialist and followed up with a Sales DIrector. Both employees were very professional and willing to fully explain the role in great detail. I would recommend Workwave as a great place to apply and could tell they care a lot about their emplyees.
