The interview process was a mess, throughout the period I was switched between two teams - one in EMEA and one in the USA. I was referred to the role by a Workday employee and had to reach out to him multiple times in order to contact no-show recruiters who somehow never found time to turn up to the calls they scheduled (at least 3 times), to the extent that my contact had to reach out internally to the recruiters and their managers to complain. He was incredibly embarrassed at my experience and was apologetic about the constant runaround.
Without meeting or talking to a single recruiter by phone/video call, I was put forward to the next series of interviews which I questioned because it seemed strange. However, the recruiter confirmed the interviews were correctly scheduled and encouraged me to prepare as usual. The prep material I received was great actually - that's a positive. However, I used it to prep for interviews that never actually happened - apparently I was indeed incorrectly moved forward in the process but only found out while waiting on a video call to speak to the hiring manager.
I did end up meeting a few of the team and found them to be great, but by that point, the company seemed incredibly unorganized and I removed myself from the running. If they can't be bothered to respect your time and effort during the interview process when they should be wooing qualified candidates (especially in this job market), it doesn't indicate that employees are valued either.
