First a recruiter screen. Recruiter doesn't know a thing about technical skills. Doesn't know if position is open for sponsorship. Put on hold for 2 weeks to get this piece of information. Then a hiring manager round. Hiring manager was least interested. He was not answering any questions asked at the end. I am well over experience level for this role and tech stack was aligned. sponsorship bit was clear later. HM rejected. They play favorites. Very biased. Demotivating. Very laid back process and slow process overall. Took 4 weeks just to get 2 rounds scheduled. Not even actual interviews. Biggest joke this is an immediate position. Avoid at all cost waste of time. Not worth it.

Zoom call with recruiter talking a little bit about my background and the position itself. It was very positive and the recruiter was great to speak to. Followed by a 1hr interview with the hiring manager which covered behavioral questions and to design a class diagram based on a set of requirements. It is then followed by 4 more rounds of interviews, one about XO language demo, another 45 minute technical round on class diagram (this time it's more in-depth and more technical, thinking about data persistence), and the rest is mostly behavioral.
