Honestly the whole interview process had many dodge and horrifying areas of HR practice that left my shock.
1) My candidacy was reviewed to Workday employees who were NOT part of the interview process. I have random people from Workday looking at my LinkedIn profile and they were 100% not part of the interview process. This shocked me because then it is unfair. What if they are referring someone else and view me as a competitor?
2) I reached the final round of interviews and was told they were still making a decision.
2 weeks later, I found out that my hiring manager had been ousted and a new hiring manager was taking over all the Account Executives. She then proceeded to hire someone whom she worked with before. I never got a chance to interview with her or speak to her at all. Which means I went through the entire interview process for nothing! She just bypass all the candidates and hired whomever she wanted without going through the due interview process with the selected candidates.
Is this how workday does interviews? Im shocked because this goes beyond the interview norms and is highly unethical.
