I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Workday (Seattle, WA) in Apr 2024
Interview
1. Initial phone screen
2. Video with hiring manager
3. 1 week long project
4. 3 rounds of final interviews
I conduct interviews myself in a larger corporation for the same roles and I'm pretty sure I gave good answers. The hiring manager since the beginning had an uneasiness about him. He came in to the call with a mind made up about me. The only way (if any) was for me to miraculously change his point of view (which rarely happens, if ever).
If you feel like your interviewer's not interested in you, I'd suggest just get out of the call and save your time, which's too valuable to waste on companies taking your time for whatever internal drama they're trying to overcome by interviewing you (be it someone's already selected for the role, be it your background isn't what they're looking for but the HR insisted they talk to you, etc.)
Thank you for sharing your interview experience with us. We'd appreciate the opportunity to discuss this further via email. Please reach out to interview@workday.com, and we look forward to hearing from you.
