Applied on the careers website, provided a lot of details about my professional experience for each position as well as in the cover letter. First round of interview was with the hiring manager and three other colleagues. Second round of interview was with hiring manager and unit manager. Third round was with hiring manager, unit manager, and department director. Position was offered several days after the last round.
Very formal process but everyone had a positive attitude, interview questions turned into very interesting conversations that allowed me to get a full picture about the job requirements and work environment.

HR is not involved at all in the scheduling or interview process. Panel interview for an hour, grilling, mostly all on scenarios. Nobody tells you where you are in the interview process, you just know as you progress through various levels. After pane interview, manager interview and then director interviews. All general questions. However I was deceived by the questions they asked. It wasn't too pertaining to my job role- which I realized only after being on the job.

I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at World Bank Group (Washington, DC) in Oct 2015
Interview
The process was quite lengthy as I had to wait for almost a year before I got shortlisted for an interview. The interview it's self was good, as the organizers kept consistent communication with me.
The panel were very professional and engaging. Even though it was a video conference interview I found it to be very interactive and engaging.
The second interview was with the line manager. This one was even more easier as it was just to formally introduce himself to me.
