      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at World Market (Alameda, CA) in Sep 2018

      Interview

Applied for the position online and I received an email with HR to do a phone interview. The phone interview went well with HR and they brought me in for an in-person interview to meet with two different hiring managers. One of them was a no show and I had to have a phone conversation with them. It was a bit unprofessional to have me come out and the hiring manager opt to not come to the office that day. The interview questions were basic. They told me the salary range for the position and it was below par, not to mention there was no bonus for that position. The holiday and PTO benefits was terrible. How do you ask someone to go back to 2 weeks PTO accrual, when I am already at 3 weeks in my current company? They would not make an exception. There is only 6 recognized holidays! They also don't mind wasting your time to do multiple rounds of interviews. I'm glad I didn't get an offer and I wouldn't have gone back for the second round.
