Worldwide Clinical Trials SAS Programmer interview questions

Spoke with HR about 2-3 weeks after applying. Honestly forgot I had even applied for the position. Discussed background and experience. She discussed the company and how the dept was growing in the US and scheduled me for a phone screen with the hiring manager about a day later. Hiring manager called about 20 mins late, but was apologetic. She asked my comfort level with SAS Base and Macros and started asking me to give her syntax for doing this or that. I'm a statistician and have used several SAS procedures over the years but unless it's something I use everyday (and the nature of my work, working on different projects for different clients) I use something different all the time. I used proc report for 3 years straight and probably haven't used it at all in the past 2 years so I honestly couldn't spit out the entire syntax over the phone, I know how to use it, I don't have it memorized. So we discussed my experience and what I've done on past projects. Figured she wasn't interested but she stated she wanted to schedule an in-person interview. HR scheduled the interview for the next day. The in-person interview was supposed to be with her and the Biostats VP but apparently he was busy (or uninterested) so I only met with her. Because we discussed so much other the phone, I didn't think there'd be much left to discuss in person but we talked for an hour. Very laid back (unlike the phone interview) and lots of behavioral questions. I asked alot of questions regarding clinical trials (my background was in something else). Left the interview feeling good about how it went. I specifically asked on the phone interview how long to expect to hear word one way or the other and I was told she'd make her decision the same day and it would probably take HR a week. HR had me complete the paper application and background check release form and I never heard ANYTHING since. It's been over a month and I haven't heard a peep. I feel like everything was positive until that point. I think it's really rude to get people this far into the process and then just abandon them completely.
