I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Worley in Sep 2025
Interview
Made it to the 3rd round interview with the Sr Finance Director and decided to withdraw my application after the distasteful experience of that interview with her. The entire interview felt like I was being talked to in a demeaning way. The questions that were asked were created for more of a controller-level of responsibilities and not aligned with the job description published or with my background in my resume. When I politely declined to move forward as I felt the position and company advertised did not align with my career goals, I was then rudely insulted by the interviewer. I was told "I have never even heard of the university you attended, is it even a 4 year accredited college?" I attended the university of houston, and I take pride in the education that has supported my 10+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience. The tone and approach of the interview did not demonstrate the level of respect and professionalism I believe are essential to a healthy and productive working environment.
I would also like to note, I was given 3 different reasons during each interview of why this position was open. Another huge red flag.
I hope Worley does better with the senior level positions that are conducting interviews and representing the company in a distasteful way.
