Interview
I recently interviewed for a position at Wrike, and my experience was far from positive. The interview process itself seemed straightforward at first, and I was promised a follow-up within two days. Despite the personalized recap email that was sent, nearly two weeks passed with no follow-up. When I finally received a response, it was a generic form email informing me that the position was no longer being filled.
The lack of timely feedback was frustrating enough, but the impersonal rejection email, paired with the sudden revelation that the role was no longer available, gave the impression that this was a ghost job posting all along. Companies should respect the time and effort candidates put into the interview process, and communicate transparently, especially when expectations are set during the interview.
While delays happen, clear communication and professionalism should be the bare minimum. This experience left me with the impression that Wrike is not serious about their hiring process or their candidates.
