Client Account Manager, MENA (Dubai) Interview

      Nov 30, 2019
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Dubai
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at X (Dubai) in Feb 2018

      Interview

The initial stage of the interview process was a phone call with HR in Dublin, Ireland. After the call, I was asked to come in to their office (in Dubai) to meet with 6 - 7 people from their teams. The interview was one-on-one with each individual separately (back-to-back). They whole process lasted around 4 - 5 hours. It was preferable to do it in one go, rather than having to go back to their office 6 separate times. I never got the part though; and I was disappointed that they never gave me a reason for not choosing me for the role, even though I have asked them for feedback in order to improve my shortcomings and potentially reapplying in the future once I’ve worked on my shortcomings, but they never responded. In their ''rejection'' e-mail, they said that I can apply again for different roles, and I’ve been applying for different roles, but they are still not responding or giving me their reasons for not accepting my applications.

      Question 1

One question that I thought was tough to answer was when I was asked to guess (estimate) their revenue.
