Xcelerate Solutions Consultant interview questions

First interview went really well, hiring staff was really excited about moving forward with my application, then they went completely cold. Wouldn't answer my phone calls about a status update or if the position had been filled. I thought that was pretty unprofessional on their end. I understand that some government clients wish to choose specific people, but the contractor could have at least stated the position had been filled.
