Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Do you feel comfortable with talking to people over the phone? If a customer is not happy which skills will you develop to calm him/her? Why do you think you would be a good fit to the team? How will you make our products competitive to the current market?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Xenon Arc in Apr 2022
Interview
I had a recruiter at the company reach out to me on LinkedIn telling me I was a great fit for the role. I had two interviews before meeting with a VP, where he was surprised I had no supply chain experience, it’s true I don’t. I was not vetted properly and after 4 interviews I was told they were moving on. I don’t think I should have even been selected in the first place and the process dragged on for over 3 weeks.

Q:Describe your supply chain experience?
Q: What experience do you have forecasting supply and demand ?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Xenon Arc (Bellevue, WA) in Nov 2021
Interview
After reaching out using Xenon Arc's Career page I got a phone interview a couple days later.
The phone screen was quite short, I was introduced to their open positions and had to answer some questions about myself, but it wasn't scripted or uncomfortable in any way.
After, I had a 1 on 1 interview with Xenon Arc's VP of Technology and Operations which took 1 hour. The atmosphere was great, it was a good mix of standard interview questions with a personal touch.
Next, I advanced to the presentation stage. In this part, the goal was to come up with an innovative idea to foster innovation and growth for one of Xenon Arc's clients. There was little guidance from the employer, but the project shows how good you can deal with ambiguity and come up with a good idea in a short time. It was important to be prepared for questions regarding your assumptions, difficulties, and process in general. The team wants to get to know how you work and think, so the project itself doesn't need to be thought all the way to the end.
I really enjoyed the whole interviewing process. It was tailored to Xenon Arc and I felt like the team wanted to get to know me as much as I wanted to get to know them. At no point did I feel awkward or uncomfortable.
