I went through thre interviews: phonecall with HR, panel interview, then a case study interview. I didn't get the original job role (they gave it to someone internally), but I was referred to another team at Xero that was advertising for a similar role. I am currently in the process of interviewing with them.

Most of the interview questions were situational. "Tell me about a time when...." They also asked a few role specific questions e.g. "what does technical debt mean to you" etc.

Interview
I had two job interviews with Xero last year. For the first one, I had a phone screen with HR and an on-site interview with team members. it was a good experience in general. Though I didn't get the job in the end, they provided good feedback.
The second job interview was with a different HR person. From the title, she seemed more senior than the first one. But I felt she didn't really care rather than just going through her standard question list and ticking the boxes. Because when I asked her a couple of basic job-related questions such as who's this job report to, and the team structure, she didn't even know or remember...lol

Interview
Internal interview: informal chat followed by one q&a interview, a scenario to work through and a team interview. The scenario was great, really appreciated the opportunity to show what I can do and received good feedback on this part especially.
