Question 1
Experience, motivations to apply and what interested me in Xero
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Xero (Auckland, Auckland) in Nov 2019
Interview
Initial phone screening followed by video interviews. The first video was a get to know you the second one was a situational interview to assess skills. The media format of the interviews was very helpful in communication . They definitely jumped to conclusions and very presumptuous in the feedback I received . Instead of becoming an interview about skill it seemed that they made it about questions had very specific answer and if you don’t answer that specific way they draw conclusions In a biased manner. Also I sensed in the final interview that the person did not like me up in the very beginning so there’s nothing much you can do about that.
