I reached out to recruiter after phone screen for an update. Assured that I’ll receive an update within a week. Followed up numerous times but never heard back. Lacks professionalism.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Xerox in Feb 2023
Interview
Half hour interview with HR, then a half hour zoom call with the hiring VP. The calls went extremely well, and they both talked salary, which was in the right ballpark. The VP strongly implied there would be next steps. I heard nothing for 6 weeks, and neither person replied to e-mail inquiries. Then finally I received an automated rejection letter. I suspect that the role was eliminated, because when I spoke to the VP there were details that needed to be ironed out. Still, it would have been nice to receive some explanation. Par for the course these days.
