One to two hour technical phone interview, followed by 8 hour all day interview at Xilinx in the bay area. Long interview consisted of multiple one to two hour sessions. Sessions included a "lab" in which a hands on task was performed. Other sessions included "tests" and q&a sessions of technical nature.

Interview
My initial communication was through a employee & I was refered & later the HR spoke to me. It was from then 3 rounds of technical telephone interviews which happened in a weeks span. Once it was through, then there was a 1-1 scheduled which had 3 rounds one with the group manager, the site Director & with HR director. It all went well & later in 2-3 days time, I was offered.
