Interview
I was interviewed by a panel of five very nice ladies. The process took about an hour. It seemed to be a very family friendly environment, which I really liked. The interviewers were very personable and did a wonderful job describing the scope of the position to me. I remain very interested in working for the YWCA, but I did not receive a job offer. One of my interviewers agreed to hold my resume on file in the event that a position opens up, but she has not called yet and I am officially going to cease holding my breath.

Interview
This was incredibly bizarre. I was contacted by the YWCA apply to a different position instead, so I did. I was then told a supervisor would like to talk to me on the phone. She asked two basic questions and then essentially offered me the position. I was told an offer letter would come within 24-48 hours. Great! My year plus long job hunt might be coming to an end. 24 hours goes by, nothing. 48 hours, nothing. 1 Week, nothing. I call, and was told they would "find out and get back to me". Days go by, nothing. I reach out via email, text, etc and nothing. At this point I get the point that I am being blatantly ignored for some reason. I have never experienced something so weird overall. Zero decency to let me know "hey, we changed our mind. we apologize". Just flat up ignored. Sad thing is I've been searching for a job forever, so I got a little excited that I had finally found a position. But nope. Beware and don’t get your hopes up, because there is a good chance they will totally ignore you for no apparent reason.
