I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Yahoo
Interview
Easy, phone interview, then an in-person interview with four people on the team. It was very basic questions and situational questions, tell me about a time when... it was honestly very easy and the manager interviewing me talked the entire time

What do you think you could contribute to the team?
The interview process was super smooth and responsive. The yahoo team followed up regularly. The process was interview long, involving a phone screening and two zoom interviews. Upon accepting the offer, the recruiting team did a great job answering questions.
I applied online. I interviewed at Yahoo (Toronto, ON)
Interview
Very disappointed with the candidate experience at Yahoo. After applying online, I was contacted by a recruiter and an interview was scheduled. Just 10 minutes before the call, I was informed of an emergency and asked to reschedule. I immediately responded with my availability, but was completely ghosted despite multiple follow-ups. For a company like Yahoo, this level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. It’s a complete waste of a candidate’s time and shows a lack of basic courtesy. I never expected such careless behavior from a recruiter representing a global brand—such a shame!
Ghosted by HR. I received an email to schedule an interview. I responded to the email with my availability. I never heard from them again. I sent second follow-up email a few days later. Ghosted. HR practices are horrible. Wasted my time.
