I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Yard House (Tucson, AZ) in Jun 2024
Interview
I can't speak enough on how frustrating the interview process for Yard House was. They had me there on three separate occasions, for three separate interviews, with three separate people who all seemed to have no knowledge that I'd had an interview with someone prior. My second interview was with the general manager of the store, and for some reason I was needed for a third interview after that. For a server position at a chain restaurant. After all of this, spanning over two weeks, I had to call into the store to have someone tell me that they'd decided to go in a different direction. There is no bitterness from me because of them deciding on someone else, but wasting someone's time the way they did for an entry level position is beyond ridiculous. Never before have I seen that.

I had to do two interviews and made it to the second interview and forgot the name of an IPA. So be prepared to name a few brands and their types. Interview was overall easy just asked about experience and availability. A few scenario questions as well.

Quick, easy, and friendly. Super great team. They really make you feel comfortable. Defintely a great place to interview with even if just for the experience. Other companies should take note.
