The owner of the company reached out to me on LinkedIn and requested to set up a call. We had a really great conversation and she wanted me to speak with another two associates. This was in the beginning of the pandemic so all three of the interviews were phone interviews. I felt that I had great conversations and built great rapport with all three of the people that I spoke with. I had been in email communication with them all, as well - first to set up the interviews and then I, of course, followed up with each of them to thank them for their time after the interview.
After my third interview, I never received any sort of communication back. I reached out via email again to check in and even reached back out to the owner of Yardzen through LinkedIn as that was how we originally connected and she never responded. I was "ghosted" and it was crushing. It would have been so great to know why I wasn't chosen or to get a response that they went with another candidate. I've never been so disappointed in a company, but I felt very strung along and then discarded - I wasn't even worth getting a rejection letter.
