I applied online. I interviewed at Yelp (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2017
Interview
It's a mess! Disorganized. Unprofessional. Forgot interview so I had to go back. The office is a chop-shop. Reminded me of the movie Boiler Room! The interviewer kept taking calls throughout the interview. The questions were rudimentary, and some questions were inappropriate in comparison to other interviews.
I am still going through the interview process and staying in contact with the team while completing each step, learning more about the opportunity, and waiting for the next update.
There was a screening with a recruiter, then scheduled for a back to back interview with 2 different people. The first one seemed to have no interest in doing the interview, the second person was very nice.
Interview with recruiter went well. Was a quick get to know you, get to know your skills and mindset, etc. Next interview with hiring manager went well, I thought, but I wasn't invited to the next stage so obviously it didn't go as well as I had hoped.
