Interview
I was interviewed by some Valley Girl sounding woman who spoke so fast, she sounded like she was on cocaine. She kept asking me if I liked to be micro-managed because that is the culture here. She also was listing various other negative attributes about the job and company. Hearing about all of this negativity, plus the low salary were a big turn-off for me. I was confused how they are going to garner interest in attracting new employees if their HR people only spout out reasons why it would suck to work for them.

Question 1
Just wanted to make sure that people who love to be micro-managed are a good fit here.
I was honest and said that being micro-managed would be hard for me which is probably why I wasn't offered the job. I was very upset about it. LOL.
Do you realize that this product is not very easy to sell? You will have alot of complaints from businesses about replies left from customers.
Interview was easy. Just asked about why we want job, how we handle rejection, and background history of our previous work experience. Other than that, they if you pass it they will go ahead and try to schedule your next interview.

Interview
Interview was smooth. I was given good information about pay, culture, and what is expected of an inside sales representative on typical day. I was also allowed to ask question.
Everyone was super nice and very clearly proud of Yelp culture. The communication was quick and clear on expectations of the interview and onboarding process. Both the recruiter and the hiring managers were very insightful about the business and offered great feedback to my mock call.

They had me run through a mock sales call twice with feedback in between.
