I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Yelp (New York, NY) in Apr 2014
Interview
applied online, passed the phone interview and scheduled a Skype interview, interviewed with three different people whole process was about an hour, position was a lot of cold calling. They were very nice. at the time applied to multiple yelp internships, and they asked why apply one internship over another (basic). Left room for a lot of my questions.

Question 1
wanted me to present a sales pitch--repetitive, but did not ask for any sales knowledge....so a little challenging without any idea of how a sales pitch would go... they considered themselves to have different competitors then those listed online.
I am still going through the interview process and staying in contact with the team while completing each step, learning more about the opportunity, and waiting for the next update.
There was a screening with a recruiter, then scheduled for a back to back interview with 2 different people. The first one seemed to have no interest in doing the interview, the second person was very nice.
Interview with recruiter went well. Was a quick get to know you, get to know your skills and mindset, etc. Next interview with hiring manager went well, I thought, but I wasn't invited to the next stage so obviously it didn't go as well as I had hoped.
