I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Yelp (San Francisco, CA) in Oct 2014
Interview
I applied online, and then got emailed to set up a phone interview. The phone interview lasted baout 30 minutes. Then, I had a Skype interview and spoke with 3 different people. Then had several follow up phone calls so they could answer my questions. Everyone was very nice, no need to be intimidated.
The process moved fast, which made sense for sales. A recruiter screen, one call with the hiring manager, and that was the extent of it. The questions were standard: territory experience, quota attainment, pipeline methodology. Nothing that required much preparation. The people I spoke with were professional and the turnaround on scheduling was quick. For the time it took, it was a low-friction experience.
