Interview
The first interview is done through phone and it lasts for about 15 minutes. They mostly want to see if you understand what Yelp is about and what they sell. Also they ask general questions about yourself and why would you like to work there. Plus they do role play so be prepared for that. I didn't get the offer and I'm assuming it's because I don't have enough experience. Overall they're very nice and they are very selective on who they recruit.
Standard filtering/fluff questions followed by a Mock sales pitch. It was not very different from other Sales/CS roles that I have applied to. It was not very difficult or novel at all.

I just had a quick screening call, and it was really focused on sales, more than on customer service. Cold calling is a big part of the role, and commissions don’t start until about 6 months in.
