Interview
Interview was going well until they asked me if I do college or any type of schooling. I explained to them I’m in college online for an AS, also stated on my resume and application. Once I had said that, they told me they have to stop the interview because they find it too much work to juggle work and school so they decide not to hire those in school. Nowhere on the job page says they don’t hire students, and again my resume itself says I am currently in school, which they had to have read if they read my resume at all. Overall just a really disappointing experience, felt like a waste of my time and their time, and they should be stating that on the job page that they don’t hire students, or pay more attention to the person’s resume to avoid this. I feel like the person going to college should have a say on if they can juggle work and school, not the employer, especially if it’s a remote job and someone is doing online schooling.
Interview was easy. Just asked about why we want job, how we handle rejection, and background history of our previous work experience. Other than that, they if you pass it they will go ahead and try to schedule your next interview.

Interview
Interview was smooth. I was given good information about pay, culture, and what is expected of an inside sales representative on typical day. I was also allowed to ask question.
Everyone was super nice and very clearly proud of Yelp culture. The communication was quick and clear on expectations of the interview and onboarding process. Both the recruiter and the hiring managers were very insightful about the business and offered great feedback to my mock call.
