      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Yelp (Charlotte, NC) in Sep 2024

      Interview

This was my second time interviewing for the role. My first time I applied, I did not make it after the screening call. This time around, I made it to the final round interview but was then declined. It was a fairly good conversational interview and not too heavy on intense questions. My recruiter was super considerate when she delivered the news that I was not selected as their top candidate.

      Interview

Interviewed for the Community Intern role in Atlanta, good interview and an assessment was given which was easy. The biggest thing is just unsure what exactly they want in a candidate. You could have years in experience, portfolio, and do the assessment great and still get passed over.

There were two interviews and one assignment. The hiring process took a month and I would say it was easy. I provided detailed answers about previous work and had a portfolio to show.

The interview was very straight-forward and welcoming. The call did last a bit over the scheduled amount, but the interviewer really wanted to know me as an applicant! Overall it was one of the better job interviews I've had via a call.
