The interview process is really basic and easy. You'll get an email asking you to schedule a phone screening with one of their recruiters. My recruiter sounded really unenthusiastic and asked basic questions. If you do well, they'll then schedule you for a video interview with a hiring manager. The hiring manager I met with started the interview by clarifying that she wanted the interview to be more of a conversation, which put me at ease. The questions asked by the hiring manager were also basic and at the end you will have to complete two role playing scenarios. For the scenarios I was asked to hop on the Yelp site, type in a location in the search bar and search for pizza places. She asked me to pick one from the list and do a trial call. For the next phase, she gave me pointers and asked me to repeat the call. Be aware, they expect you to have zero other commitments during your employment with them. I ultimately lost my offer because of this.

Interview was easy. Just asked about why we want job, how we handle rejection, and background history of our previous work experience. Other than that, they if you pass it they will go ahead and try to schedule your next interview.
I applied online. I interviewed at Yelp (Atlanta, GA) in Apr 2026
Interview
Interview was smooth. I was given good information about pay, culture, and what is expected of an inside sales representative on typical day. I was also allowed to ask question.
Everyone was super nice and very clearly proud of Yelp culture. The communication was quick and clear on expectations of the interview and onboarding process. Both the recruiter and the hiring managers were very insightful about the business and offered great feedback to my mock call.
