      Managed Reputation Specialist Interview

      Apr 13, 2026
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Manila, Manila
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Yext (Manila, Manila) in Feb 2026

      Interview

I applied for the role in February and initially had a very smooth and well-structured experience. I received an invitation for a first-round interview on February 11, followed by a technical assessment. By February 24, I was informed that I had passed the exam and would proceed to a Hiring Manager interview. Shortly after, on February 27, I was notified that I would advance to the next stage—a Director interview. Up to this point, the process was organized and transparent, with access to a candidate portal to track my progress. However, after completing the Director interview on March 7, communication significantly slowed down. I waited nearly two weeks without any updates, and at the same time, I lost access to the candidate portal. I sent a follow-up email on March 14, and the recruiter responded on March 16, explaining there were delays due to year-end closures and asked for an additional week. After waiting again without updates, I followed up on April 4, but received a similar response requesting yet another week. While I understand that delays can happen, the lack of clear timelines, repeated postponements, and loss of access to the candidate portal made the experience frustrating. Better communication and transparency would greatly improve the candidate experience.

      Interview

I received an invitation for a first-round interview on February 11, followed by a technical assessment. By February 24, I was informed that I had passed and would proceed to a Hiring Manager interview. Shortly after, on February 27, I advanced to a Director interview. Up to this point, the process was organized, transparent, and easy to track via the candidate portal. After completing the Director interview on March 7, communication slowed significantly and updates became inconsistent. I also lost access to the candidate portal, which added to the uncertainty. After several follow-ups in March and April, I went weeks without any updates and initially felt that my application had been dropped. On April 21, the recruiter reached out again, apologizing for the delays and asking if I was still interested in the role. I was then scheduled for a final interview the following week. The day after completing it, I was informed that I had passed the final round and was eventually extended an offer. Overall, while the early stages were very structured and positive, the mid-to-late stages had communication gaps that created uncertainty. However, I appreciate that the process ultimately resumed and concluded positively. Improving communication and providing clearer timelines would significantly enhance the candidate experience.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Yext in Feb 2026

      Interview

My experience was not the best. Right from the start, the recruiter seemed uninterested in talking to me. She only asked if I did my research on the company and when I said yes, she didn’t give any further information on the role and immediately moved to asking if I had any questions. When I proceeded to ask them, she wasn’t interested in answering and gave only a few generic and vague answers as a response. Overall, it felt as if they already chose a different candidate beforehand, but needed to interview me for the sake of showing up on the scheduled date. I would’ve appreciated it more if they just cancelled and rejected my application instead.
