I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Yext in Oct 2016
Interview
First, I had a phone call with a recruiter who was very charismatic and easy to talk to. He asked me about my experiences and we mostly covered my resume; he then spent a lot of time hyping the company and role up.
Then, I was invited to an on campus interview with someone from the PM team for another behavioral interview. My interviewer had NO personality-- he didn't even introduce himself! He asked me questions and while I spoke just looked down at my resume (barely took notes) without nodding or giving me any normal feedback you would give in a conversation. Sure enough, I didn't get invited to move forward, which I think has a lot to do with the fact that my interviewer was so terrible! On that note, I dropped by Yext's booth at the career fair and talked to a girl there who was also on the PM team and she was also dreadfully boring.
Basically, it seems like the PM team doesn't really want anyone with charisma or personality. Which is odd because the company seems so lively and the recruiters were all really fun to talk to. Maybe just the PM team hires a bunch of duds.

Interview
First Round: On-Campus Behavioral Interview
Second Round: Networking dinner Thursday evening, Superday at Yext Office on Friday - 4 interviews total (2 behavioral, 2 case studies), tour of Yext office, casual chats with current employees to discuss Yext culture
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Yext
Interview
The first round of interviewing was a one on one interview that was conducted on my university's campus. It was a very conversational and casual interview that seemed very comfortable. It was not very long, maybe 30 to 45 minutes, and it consisted of a miniature case at the end. The second and final interview was a Zoom interview conducted by a panel of a variety of people. Interviews ranged from conversational and personal to a case style interview that ended with a presentation made to a few different groups of people. Overall, everyone was incredibly nice and supportive and I enjoyed the process very much.

Question 1
What is your most used/favorite app and what would you change about it?
The interview was over phone and it involved some general questions with a case study at the end. I'm generally pretty okay with behavioral questions but I totally botched the case study at the end since I had never done one before (it was to estimate the addressable market for Amazon Alexa in the US). The person who interviewed me was an alum from my school.
