Process consisted of an initial Zoom coding screen and on-site interviews at the Yext office in NYC (1 Debugging, 1 Coding, 1 System Design, 1 Behavioral). Interviewers were very friendly and helpful. The interview questions were on the easier side, but were still interesting and engaging. Recruiting team was not the most responsive or helpful, and I had several issues with getting my interviews scheduled. I felt like I had a strong performance, but ended up getting downleveled. Be wary. From my research and anecdotal experience, they may have a major bias towards internally promoting vs hiring external candidates for Senior+ SWE roles. All the Senior+ engineers I encountered during the interview process and on LinkedIn/Levels had joined years ago as mid-level or new grad SWEs and were internally promoted.
