I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Yext
Interview
Was reached out to on LinkedIn by a recruiter from Yext. Had a 30 minute phone call with him and was moved on to a technical phone screen.
Technical phone screen took an hour and had two coding questions. The first was a debugging question, where I was presented some code and had to get test cases passing. The second was a more standard DS&A question. Passed this round and was moved to (virtual) final rounds.
Final round interview consisted of 4 total interviews. First three were technical, the first a debugging question (5 files, so larger scope), and two others more typical DS&A questions. Last interview is behavioral.

Question 1
Debugging (basically get the existing code working as expected) and DS&A questions. Doing leetcode style questions will help prepare for the latter.
I had a great interview process with friendly interviewers. I interviewed for the New York office as a software engineer. The conversations/interviews were interesting and gave me a clear understanding of the role and company.
I applied online. I interviewed at Yext (Washington, DC) in Dec 2025
