I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Yext
Interview
The interview process consisted of three parts: phone interview with a recruiter, technical phone interview, and virtual onsite interview.
1. Phone interview with a recruiter: had a 30-minute phone call going over my background and interest and explaining the interview process and timeline
2. Technical phone interview with two engineers: had a 1-hour phone call solving two questions - one debugging and one DS&A. One of the engineers led the entire process, and the other engineer was shadowing.
3. Virtual Onsite interview: had a 4-hour virtual interview on Zoom. It consisted of four sessions with four different interviewers: one debugging, two DS&As, and one behavioral.
Overall, I had a very positive experience. The entire process was well-organized and efficient. All the interviewers were friendly and supportive, and they provided detailed and honest answers to all my questions regarding their team and company.
I had a great interview process with friendly interviewers. I interviewed for the New York office as a software engineer. The conversations/interviews were interesting and gave me a clear understanding of the role and company.
