I applied online. I interviewed at Yext (New York, NY)
Interview
Literally 1 minute because instead of confirming with me prior to our interview if I lived in their desired location, they scheduled the interview anyway, never saying it was not remote - mind you, my city was on my application which they had prior to this so it was very clear I was out of state. The first question they asked was if I still live in my city, I told them yes, and they immediately responded with “this position is not remote so we can’t continue the interview.” They didn’t even give me a chance to say “I would be willing to travel” - just hung up and succeeded in wasting my time and my family’s since I was on vacation and they moved things around so I could do this interview to begin with.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Yext
Interview
The process began with an initial HR screening, followed by a technical assessment and three rounds of interviews. It was well structured, professional, and moved at a reasonable pace. Communication was clear throughout.

Wouldnt recommend. Was left waiting quiet a bit. Be mindful of who you are speaking to as they can be a bit touchy about performance of the business.MD was very strange to speak to and came across very arrogant
