Interview
I spoke to a friend who works at Yipit who walked me through the culture of the company. They seemed very interesting and according to the friend, the leadership team is very invested in knowledge sharing and empowering employees. I sent a cover email and my resume asking to be considered for the Django developer role to jobs@yipit.com in the morning. I heard back within the same day requesting availability for a phone interview which happened a few days later.
