Interview
1st round - Call with a CSM manager to understand why I want to work at YipitData 2nd round - Call with a CSM manager going through my resume, experience and past KPIs and performance 3rd round - 2 part assignment - mock account planning exercise and mock client call Last round - 4 back to back interviews Overall process took 1 month. It's a long but thorough process, and gave me the opportunity to really understand the business overall as well as the role I was interviewing for. Lots of time to ask questions which was great.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at YipitData in Sep 2025
Interview
Interview process was pretty extensive - consisted of an HR screen, interview with hiring manager, interview with two peers, interview with VP of Revenue, and two take home assignments. Even though it was time consuming, the team was lovely, inviting, honest, and took the time to answer all of my questions. They are very intentional with who they hire and it showed

Question 1
A lot of situational questions regarding how I would handle the role. This is a high growth company and you have to be willing to be scrappy and nimble as things change and grow accordingly.
Multiple rounds. A Zoom intro call, a case study review and then an all day panel. Was a bit disappointing to make it all the way to the end and not receive an offer, given that I had to take a decent amount of time off for these interviews. Understand that they want to be careful in who they hire, but it’s hard to devote a full day of PTO and then be declined.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at YipitData in Apr 2024
Interview
Very well structured interview process. Four rounds over four weeks: first round was with the hiring manager (30 mins), second was with a potential peer/teammate (30 mins), third round was a take home exercise that I had 5 days to complete/submit, along with a mock call exercise (with the hiring manager, 30 mins), and the last round was ~3 hours of interviews (broken up over 2 days) with 5 different team members (potential peers on the same team, and leaders across different orgs I'd be working with). The take home assignment was challenging, but provided excellent insight in the role. I always had time to ask questions and they were transparent about the pay. The final round really gave me a feel for the people I'd be working with and the overall company culture. I feel very prepared and understand what I am going into after the interview experience.
