Initial Interview is great, examining initially your degree, working experience, family status as well as basic informations. Technical Interview ask how is your experience in handling a project. Mostly having an experience on project handling and project execution experience is an advantage.

The interview is basically to test your understanding of the company and the industry. You just have to research more about their products and show interest in the industry. The interviewer is most likely your department head and for me, he is very friendly and encouraging with his words and advices given after I answer each of his questions.
